Memories by the Seaside
If you’re looking for a traditional family beach getaway, look no further than Seaside. Play on the beach and create lasting memories exploring the town. Along Broadway Street, feed the seals at the Seaside Aquarium, ride bumper cars, visit taffy shops, and more.
Walk along the Seaside Promenade to find a trolley, seafood restaurants, coffee,e and souvenir shops. Get active by pedaling swan boats or paddling a kayak on the Necanicum River, or try surfing at The Cove by Tillamook Head.
Adventure awaits in golfing, biking, hiking, paragliding, and beachcombing by the sea. Annual events and festivals are big draws in Seaside, too. The World’s Largest Beach Volleyball Tournament is a hit in August, but look for music festivals, sandcastle competitions, and arts festivals throughout the year.
Gearhart, just seven miles north of Seaside, is the home of Gearhart Golf Links, the oldest golf course in the Pacific Northwest. Other golf courses in the area include Seaside Golf Club along the Necanicum River and the Highlands in Gearhart, an executive course overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
