Sentences
The following criminal sentences have been imposed in Umatilla County Circuit Court:
Eduardo Acosta, 40, of Hermiston, pleaded guilty in a 2024 case to attempted delivery of methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm; sentenced to three years, four months incarceration in the Oregon Department of Corrections with credit for time served, a $200 fine and 20 months of post-prison supervision.
Elizabeth Kay Baker, 26, of Hermiston, pleaded guilty a cases from 2023 to vehicle theft and three counts of second-degree burglary; sentenced to a $200 fine for the vehicle theft and three years of probation.
Juan Manuel Garcia Jr., 26, of Hermiston, pleaded guilty in a 2024 case to driving under the influence of intoxicants; sentenced to three years of probation, one year suspension of driving privileges, two days incarceration in the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, with credit for time served, and a fine of $1,250.
The following criminal sentences have been imposed in Morrow County Circuit Court:
Sean Thad Hale, 53, of Tualatin, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to driving under the influence of intoxicants; sentenced to two years of probation, two days incarceration in the Umatilla County Jail with credit for time served, one year suspension of driving privileges and a fine of $1,000.
Charles Melvin Pevy, 47, of Irrigon, pleaded guilty in a 2023 case to vehicle theft; sentenced to two years, six months incarceration with the Oregon Department of Corrections with credit for time served and one year of post-prison supervision.

Nathan Trent Smith vs. Paul Michael Emmons, both of Pendleton; seeks $200.
