Hells Canyon Journal celebrates 40 years

HALFWAY — An open house is planned Sunday, Nov. 16, to celebrate the Hells Canyon Journal’s 40th year. The reception will run from 2-4 p.m., with comments at 3 p.m., at the Pine Valley Grange, 140 Fairgrounds Road. Refreshments will be served.

The Hells Canyon Journal was established in 1984. Steve Backstrom has served as editor since 1989, and publisher since 1992.
