Still time for hitting camp

While the Hermiston Winter Break Hitting Camp is winding down, interested ballplayers can get their hacks in through the end of the week at Bottom of the Ninth indoor batting cages.
BOTN, located at 1055 North First Street No. 3F, is hosting the camp. The instructional work is being taken care of by Hermiston head baseball coach Brent Mattson and the Hermiston players.
The camp is for players grades 3-8 and costs $15 per day, running from 10 a.m. to noon.
For the BOTN itself, operating hours are 4-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4-6 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays and 4-8 p.m. Sundays.
Membership rates, along with hourly rates, are available at BOTN.
For non-members, it will cost $25/hour or $15/half-hour. Memberships can start montly ($30), but discounts are given for 3-month ($75) and 6-month blocks ($120).
