John and Karen Connell of Hermiston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Marie Connell, to Robert Dean “Bobby” Wright Jr., also of Hermiston. Bobby’s parents are Robert Wright Sr. of Salem and Kim Parsons of Baker City.

Christina is a 2007 graduate of Hermiston High School. She earned a dental assisting certificate in 2009 from Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton.

Bobby graduated from North Salem High School in 2005. He is employed with the Walmart Distribution Center in Hermiston.

The couple will be married Aug. 28, 2010, in Hermiston.
