Julie Linae Gordanier and Jared Heath Lathrop, both of Hermiston, are announcing their engagement. Julie is the daughter of Gary and Mari Gordanier of Irrigon. Jareds parents are Allen and Dawn Lathrop of Condon.

Julie graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman in 2004. She received a nursing degree from Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton in 2010. She works as a registered nurse at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston.

Jared is a 1999 graduate of Condon High School, and a 2003 graduate of Oregon State University-La Grande campus, where he earned a bachelors degree in agriculture business management. He is employed with Banner Bank in Hermiston.

The couple will exchange vows April 16, 2011, in Pendleton.
